Mary Dimino, the "queen of Queens", is a bundle of hilarious contradictions; with an angelic smile and a tough, New York- Italian attitude, she says "I look like I'm gonna bake you fresh cookies, but I sound like I'm gonna bust your kneecaps."

If she did, she'd probably feel so guilty, she'd insist on paying all your medical bills. After all, Mary is the good Catholic girl who vows, "I'm saving myself for menopause."

Her sweet face coupled with her tell-it-like-it-is delivery makes Mary a favorite with comedy club audiences and won her a spot in the Final Event of the prestigious "Ladies of Laughter" competition at Caeser's Palace in Atlantic City. Her comedy act has been featured on such tv shows as Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater, Stand-Up Stand-Up, and VH-1.

Mary's quick-witted and charming audience banter landed her a job as the lively game show host for a new pilot called, "Will You Get Naked?" Mary's special charisma with audiences was also noticed by international icon, Graham Norton, who requested Mary to be his warm-up act for his Comedy Central series, "The Graham Norton Effect."

Mary is a familiar face on television, appearing in award-winning national commercials for Nicorette Gum and Dunkin' Donuts. As an actress, Mary played Polly on "New York Undercover." She also appeared on HBO's Chris Rock Show, The Independent Film Channel, American Movie Classics and the PBS movie "Fighting Fat." She was also in various sketches for Letterman and Conan O'Brien. In theatres, she can be seen off-Broadway in "The Vaginia Monologues", and most recently as the lead in "Beating the Heavenly Drum," an award-winning play written by Eileen O'Hare, former head writer of "The Nanny."

Reviewers from the New York Times to The Allentown Times agree that there really is "something about Mary." When asked what that special something inside her is, she replied, "A canoli from Buono's Bakery."
